Trust you have recovered sufficiently from the ride!

As I briefly mentioned Friday morning, I just want to formally thank you and the team for the suburb service and friendship shown Thursday night.

I discovered at 18h00 that I had a screw in my rear tyre and absolute panic erupted!

Gave Pieter a call, explained the dilemma and in my heart I thought that was it – no 1200km for me!! But Pieter said he would see what he could do and in 15 minutes called me back to say that he would collect keys for the dealership, ask Kenneth to collect a trailer and pick up my bike and he would fetch Gerbrand and Roland to do the fix…. Unbelievable!

Needless to say by 21h30 I was on my way home  - all fixed up

I know there is nothing worse than spending a full day in the office only to be called back once home to sort out an emergency… Really appreciate the personal time and effort afforded to ensure I could take part in the run to Durbs and back

I do not have the other contact mails but please express my gratitude to all involved….

Pat, well what can I say. I think your knowledge helped me to make the right
decision, and I got my bike in time which is just amazing. Usually with my

Thank you for all your trouble, running around, moving bikes to make this
happen for her. It has not gone unnoticed and it is much appreciated! You
have really made it a day she will never forget, and even when she was being difficult in the beginning saying she does not want to collect the bike, or
ride out the shop floor........all that was forgotten when she was there!

It is things like this that make you come back to a dealer and people like
you! You know even, better than me, it's not the dealer but for the people

 When we receive the registration paper, guarantee and insurance policy, will they include our one year HOG membership and details and cost of renewing this membership annually and please inform of the possibility of attaining Clearwater colours and the access to the details of your club run dates and destinations.

Although I've mentioned this to you guys in the past, it's time I do this in writing. I need to emphasize of how pleased I am with the level of service we are experiencing from all people at your Dealership. With my 2nd Harley purchase (Renette's Softail de Luxe), you've once again gone far more than the extra mile. From purchase to fitting accessories to delivery in 2 days! Believe me this level of service I haven't experienced anywhere. Every small detail is taken care of. An incident I see as a small issue such as your number plate supplier not producing the goods, Paul took the matter into his hands, kept me in the loop all the time and solved the problem within 2 days.

As you are aware, in the past I wasn't happy with your Spares & Accessories Division, you've now certainly solved the problem as we're receiving more than excellent service and continuous feedback from Jonathan. You're running a tight ship as a real well-oiled "Harley" engine. Sorry for the pun he-he... but in all seriousness, you & your staff are fantastic with a Professional & People Approach towards business. This level of service can only equal Success.

I firmly believe it shouldn't only be complaints that are lodged, but also where praise is due. It's good to see there are still South African businesses, customers can build trust relationships with. Although I've not worked with all people at your dealership, I find it necessary to highlight the following people: Gert doesn't only sell motorcycles, he builds bonding relationships. Fanie can't do enough to assist people and REALLY goes out of his way. With Pieter and Paul, no problem is ever an issue and if you query a problem, the answer is always "Dis uitgesort". Kristelle & Ronelda at your sales counter, always full of smiles and helping everybody with unbelievable patience. Even with this level of service, one never gets the feeling, this is a "marketing strategy" but rather of building honest & genuine people relationships. Tommie I don't know what your recipe is, but its damn well working! Congratulations on building an excellent team.

Dear Mr. Roos,

So often clients only complain about bad service, but I am the exception. I was recently involved in a motorcycle accident which resulted in extensive repairs to myself and to my bike i.e. it was necessary to replace the frame! I must admit that I had some trepidation about the quality of repairs at Clearwater, especially after having heard rumours from others who had repairs done and I was in fact advised to consider sending my bike for repairs elsewhere, but was indeed pleasantly surprised at the manner in which this entire transaction was handled. In fact, I was once telephonically invited by Pieter into your workshop to view the progress made. I took 3 photographs on my cellular ‘phone as proof.

From the moment the insurance company approved my claim, Pieter and Paul started ordering various parts. I was impressed by the fact that both these gentlemen continuously updated me on the progress of the delivery of the parts and an estimated date when I could expect my bike to be completed.

At last, after what seemed like a life-time without my Harley, Fanie invited me to a test-ride. Afterwards I requested that certain adjustments be made. At this time Tommie (Snr) and I had scrutinized the work done and inspected the bike in detail. Fanie compiled a short report of the adjustments that needed to be done and without any delay Tommie (Snr) attended to each of the issues as per the list and persisted until they were all completed.

Finally, I wish to sincerely thank everyone who was in any way involved in the repair of my bike and will certainly recommend the Clearwater workshop to anyone who needs repairs done. I am once again enjoying my Harley as if there had never been an accident. Thanks Tommy.

Hi Tommie,

Purchasing my first Harley was by far my best buying experience ever. And for that I need to thank firstly yourself for certain concessions you made for me, Gert for being the friendly and caring professional he is, Anthony for always having the time to make me feel so welcome, Jonathan for his patience and efforts in ensuring I got exactly the parts I wanted and lastly but not least, Paul in the workshop who worked until after 7.00 pm getting my bike ready for the long weekend - "because he's already waited 8 weeks for his bike" and all the while with a smile and friendly attitude. Can't thank him and everyone enough.

The rest of your staff, from the marketing ladies downstairs to the kitchen upstairs, are also instrumental in making being a customer at Clearwater an experience that can only be believed by experiencing it yourself. You have a great dealership and great products, but I think your staff are your greatest asset.

My bike of choice was the Wide Glide and what a beauty she is. I look forward to a long and rewarding relationship with it and all at Clearwater Harley Davidson.
